SFO AirTrain

The AirTrain is a 24-hour automated people mover with frequent departures at SFO to transfer between the terminals and their garages, among other locations in the airport.

To complete a lap takes only minutes between stops.

Routes

Given the circular structure of SFO Airport, AirTrain operates a couple of lines:

Red Line

The Red Line connects all terminals, the terminal garages and the BART Station.

Blue Line

The Blue Line connects the Rental Car Center, the terminals, its garages and the BART Starton.

Location

International Terminal

AirTrain stations are located close to Gates A and G.

International Garages A and G

Level 7.

Domestic Terminals 1, 2 and 3

Level 3, across the passenger Skybridge.

Domestic Parking Garage

Level 5.

Please note that the Long-Term Parking facilities at SFO are not served by the AirTrain.

Connections

From the AirTrain passengers can connect to BART at Garage G AirTrain / BART Station stop.

On the other hand, Caltrain is accessible by taking BART to Millbrae Station.
