SFO International Terminal

SFO International Terminal, also called I, T-I, INTL, processes international outbound and inbound flights to SFO Airport.

SFO International Terminal hosts both boarding areas A and G, sharing ticketing facilities with some domestic carriers.

A gate area is under construction in the International Terminal, so it is partially under renovation works. 

LEVELS

SFO Airport International Terminal consists of the following levels:

Level 2

This is the Arrivals and baggage claim area.

There’s located the Customs and passport check and the exit for connected flights. 

Find access to ground transportation options outside the level.

International Main Hall (level 3)

This is the Departures, check-in and boarding area.

Boarding areas are distributed from east (boarding areas A) to west (boarding areas G).

Amenities included: Food court, security checks, lounges, food, drink and shopping concessions, restrooms, among others.

International A boarding area

Boarding A areas are located east of the main hall. In this section there are available Gates A1-15.

International G boarding area

Boarding G areas are located west of the main hall. Find here Gates G1-G14

Available services: Spa facilities, storage, showers, cell phone rentals, business services, medical clinic, baggage wrapping, etc.

Level 4

AirTrain stations for both Garage A and Garage G.

Please note that this level houses the BART station, which is located adjacent to the garage in the way to the boarding area G.

Level 5

International Parking Garages A and G.

Airport hotel

Freshen Up is an airport service which lets passengers to rent private nap rooms for hours located towards the International G gates security checkpoint. 

Rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and Flight monitors.

Rates vary from $ 40.00 for the first hour and then $ 10.00 for each additional 15 minutes. After the second hour, each 15 minutes are charged at $ 8.00.

Showers are also available upon $ 25.00 for 30 minutes and shower package with nap room rental costs $ 20.00.

LOUNGES

Air France – KLM Lounge: Boarding Area A, level 3, post-security. Open daily from 07:30 am until last departure. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers, Telephones. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.

British Airways Lounge: Boarding Area A, close to Gates A4 and A6, post-security. Opening hours: Daily, from 01:30 pm to 07:15 pm. Services: Premium lounge, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.

China Airlines’ Dynasty Lounge: Boarding Area A, level 4, post-security. Opening hours: Daily, from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm – 09:00 pm to 00:00 am (winter), Daily, from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm – 10:00 pm to 01:00 am (summer). Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines, TV. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.

The Emirates Lounge: Boarding Area A, close to Gates A3 and A5, level 3, post-security. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, Showers, Newspapers, Magazines, TV, Internet terminals, Printers, Copiers. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.

Japan Airlines Sakura Lounge: Boarding Area A, level 4. Services: Premium food, Snacks, Alcoholic drinks, Flight monitors, Newspapers, Magazines. Please note it is a non-smoking facility.

United Airlines United Club: Boarding Area G, between gates G6 and G9, level 3, post-security. Opening hours: Daily, from 06:30 am to 01:00 am. United Polaris Lounge: Boarding Area G, level 3, post-security. Opening hours: Daily, from 05:00 am to 11:00 pm.
