SFO Terminal 3
SFO Terminal 3, formerly known as the North Terminal, stands for a domestic terminal, hosting exclusively outbound and inbound flights by United to several cities within the US.
As well as SFO Terminal 2, Terminal 3 is an eco-friendly facility thanks to its solar roof, which generates enough power to light all its facilities.
It is home of boarding gates E (E1-E13) and F (F1-F22), and shares some gates with the International Terminal.
Levels
SFO Terminal 3 consists of the following levels:
Level 1
Arrivals and Baggage claim area.
Services: Restrooms.
Level 2
Departures and Boarding area.
Where the East Concourse is located, which unites both Boarding Areas E and F, a centralized security checkpoint, with the new United Club.
Services: Free Wi-Fi internet connection, power outlets and USB outlets, lounge-style seating areas, restrooms, private changing rooms.
Domestic Boarding Area E
Domestic Boarding E area hosts gates E1-E13.
This area is connected to boarding area F.
Services: Flight Deck’s interactive info and entertainment area, free Wi-Fi connection, luxury amenities, work stations, power outlets, yoga room and kids play area, nursing lounges and food, drink and retail concessions.
Domestic Boarding Area F
Domestic Boarding F area hosts gates F1-F22.
After security, you can also access to boarding area E.
From this area you can access to Boarding Area G and also to the International Terminal’s Main Hall.
Level 4
AirTrain Terminal 3 Station.
Level 5
Domestic Parking Garage.
Walking times from Sky Center to gates:
Time to the farthest E gate(E13): 3 minutes.
