Types of Parking at SFO
Domestic Garage
The Domestic Garage is the largest and most convenient parking facility for domestic travelers, located directly in front of Terminals 1, 2, and 3.

This is the best option for short stays, business trips, or picking up passengers due to its proximity to the terminals.
International Garages (A & G)
These garages serve the International Terminal and are divided into two sections:
International Garage A
- Capacity: 1,268 spaces
International Garage G
- Capacity: 915 spaces
Rates (both garages):
- 15 minutes: $2.00
- Maximum (24h): $36.00
Both garages are located just steps from the International Terminal entrances.
Choose Garage A or G depending on your airline’s boarding area to minimize walking time.
Long Term Garage
The Long Term Garage is the main option for extended stays and is located slightly farther from the terminals.
-Capacity: 6,552 spaces
-Rates:
- 15 minutes: $2.00
- Maximum (24h): $24.00
This facility is connected to the terminals via the AirTrain Blue Line, which runs frequently and free of charge.
Ideal for trips longer than 2–3 days, offering a good balance between price and convenience.
Long Term Surface Lot
A more economical alternative, the Long Term Surface Lot is located near the Long Term Garage.

- 15 minutes: $2.00
- Maximum (24h): $21.00
This is the cheapest official parking option at SFO.
Best for budget-conscious travelers, but allow extra time for transfers to the terminal.
Valet Parking (Park Fast)
Valet parking is the most premium and convenient service at SFO, available near terminal entrances.
-Capacity: 150 spaces
-Rates:
- First 24 hours: $40.00
- After 24 hours: $45.00 max per day
This service allows you to drop off your vehicle directly at the terminal.
Recommended for short trips or when traveling with heavy luggage or tight schedules.
Transfers Between Parking and Terminals
SFO provides efficient connections between parking areas and terminals:
- AirTrain (Red & Blue Lines) connects all terminals, garages, and the Rental Car Center
- Long-term parking is served by the AirTrain Blue Line
Note: The AirTrain operates 24/7 and is free of charge.
Allow 10–15 minutes extra when using long-term parking to reach your terminal comfortably.
